Though retired he is currently keeping busy as a singer/songwriter,half of the acoustic duo Silvington (www.silvington.org, Instagram silvington9). They have 6 studio albums behind them, and regularly perform at folk clubs and festivals across the south west and the midlands.He has had some theatre experience, taking part in open air Shakespeare productions and pantomime,  and was part of an ensemble that twice won the music award at the Worcestershire One Act Play Festival.
