The Next Step Team are proud to introduce Amna R to the industry. Amna is based in Manchester with great transport linke to all major UK cities.

Amna is  interested in modelling as they want to showcase my identity as a Deaf person and transexual man. Currently Amna is not on hormone therapy and has scarring from there top surgery. Amna was born in Iraq and this is his  heritage. Amna's  parents also originate from Iraq. His features are not typical of someone from Iraq and he feels he has more of a Westernised appearance. 

As a Deaf Transgender Male Amna want to prove that there is no reason for language barriers and feels that we are able to participate and work equally as a Male model. Through Amna's work he would like to demonstrate that Deaf and all sorts of creeds, races and disabilities can participate in the Modelling world. He also want to spread the word not only as a deaf person but also as a transgender man. Amna would also like to inform you that as a Deaf person who uses BSL (British Sign Language), communication is no issue. We have accessibility via different mediums such as technology - SignVideo, FaceTime, WhatsApp, Messenger, email or BSL interpreters. This enables communication for both parties involved Deaf and hearing.

 Amna also hopes to provide visibility for Deafness through his work and educate, inform and promote equality.

He believes that as a fervent and determined individual she possesses the essential skills and mindset vital for success in the world of commercial modelling.
