The Next Step Team are proud to introduce Sylvia. My name is Sylvia Onodu and I’m fifty years old. I currently live in London although I grew up in south Wales. I have always been fascinated by the modelling industry and interestingly, over the past 10 years, I have been encouraged to follow a career in this field, and so now I’ve decided to take the plunge at 50 years old!

I’m fluent in English, French and Italian and I teach English online as a foreign language to unaccompanied asylum seeking children which is something I’m passionate about. I also used to be a professional singer and I have prior experience on set as a backing vocalist singing with the likes of All Saints on the Brit Awards and Diana Ross on Top of the Pops as well as Robson and Gerome on The Royal Variety Performance! But now, I’m really looking forward to having the opportunity to be a model and see myself adorned on magazine covers, billboards and in shop windows! 

Ultimately, I am a passionate and goal driven individual with the skills and attitude necessary to succeed as a model and all of my statistics are up to date as of 23/09/2022.
